And after almost three decades, Pokemon cards don’t lose their shine. Of course, the scene in Croatia would not be complete without the “old school”. Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG still holds loyal players who love fast, complex combinations (combos), while Magic: The Gathering (MTG) is synonymous with deep strategy and rich fantasy lore. Both games have stable communities and regular tournaments around the country.

Map accessories: How to preserve the value of your collection?

Collectors know very well – a card is worth as much as it is preserved (so-called Mint condition). Any damage to the edges, scratches or bends drastically reduces the value of your favorite card. That’s why quality card accessories are mandatory from day one:

• Sleeves: Cards should never be “naked”. Use quality liners (like Dragon Shield or Ultimate Guard) to protect them while mixing and playing.
• Deck Box: Keep your decks safe from moisture and physical damage during transport to a friend’s party or tournament.
• Albums (Binders): Your most valuable cards deserve to be neatly arranged and protected in special side-loading albums that prevent cards from falling out.
• Playmats: Rubberized mats not only protect the cards from dirt on the table, but also make it easier to pick up and shuffle the cards, with beautiful visual motifs from your favorite anime.
